Mark AJ (AJ) is Mark Gray’s apprentice here Nexus Collective Studio. Specialising in black and grey styles due to, not only his colourblind limitations, but his passion for detailed and realistic artwork. AJ is consistently learning new techniques under the watchful eye of experienced artist, Mark Gray.

Having been interested in drawing from a young age, AJ continued to pursue detailed black and grey artwork through college, university and now as an aspiring tattoo apprentice.

With a long list of influences from a variety of different backgrounds ranging from Chicana to Art Nouveau and Realism, AJ is keen to throw a suitable, yet interesting spin on any idea that comes through the door.
